I do enjoy using All the Right Type 3 Plus. It is an excellent user-friendly program, that is easy to use and has great graphics, which makes learning keyboarding very pleasant. Specifically I appreciate the results page which depicts which finger on either hand needs improvement.
The ability to be proficient at using a keyboard has never been more important and is an essential skill in our society.
The program is easy to use and is equally simple to install as a standalone or network based program. It uses wide/local area network (TCP/IP) protocol that allows fast and secure networking.
In total we tested 10 terminals using NComputing technology and 26-30 stand alone computers running the server based program all at once with no noticeable degradation of speed, unexpected program errors and/or hang ups. The student input and importation functions are simple enough for teachers to handle and manage on there own making this program extremely user friendly.
I just purchased the network version of this software. I'm very pleased with the worksheet generator feature. The students are very challenged by the problems which keeps them interested. The record keeping is not true record keeping though. Yes, students can print out a session report, but that can prove to be quite wasteful for an entire school. Generally speaking, a network version with record keeping capabilities should have the ability to enter all the student names and the teacher be able to print a compiled report when it is needed. It is very misleading to state there is a record keeping feature.
